Let the Good Times Roll…

Let the Good Times Roll…

“My Best Friend’s Girl,” “You’re All I’ve Got Tonight,” “Shake it Up,” “You Might Think,”, “Good Times Roll”…

Not sure where to start…or end. The Cars broke big during my teenage years. I LOVED the CARS. And I obviously have to say their album covers rate high on the prepubescent chart…

Teenage jokes aside, the band was a a pivoltal “New Wave” movement that pinned disaffected vocals against herky-jerky rhythm guitar, dense keyboards and dancefloor-ready beats…

A sad day for rock and roll.

RIP Ric Ocasek.
